Recycle Upcycle Educate Inspire
I am inspired to share ways to make life kinder, easier, cleaner, smarter and more fulfilling. It's about time we recognised all the animals that we are seeing washed up on beaches, or trapped in cages have voices, and the reason why we are seeing them, is because they are asking us to help.
People need to pull together, they need support, ideas and inspiration for making the world a better place to live.
Our planet needs us - humanity needs us.
Please share on the page - I will just ask that your contribution comes with good advice, positive ideas and that you are enlightening, creating, inspiring and rewarding real solutions - sharing in a spirit of global community and enrichment.
Let's do it together.
A global voice for miracles
I heard people discussing a documentary a while ago - it was about where our plastic recycling ends up. A large portion of the plastic recycling we do, ends up in China, and in the factories that purchase the waste - the only way to truly separate the plastic into its correct chemical group - is to heat it and…. SMELL it.
So while we recycle, (please read that as passing off our waste to another country), we are also poisoning someone. Many people.
This article inspired my post: Grey whale dies bringing us a message
This is from the NZ Herald - Sea Turtle harmed
This is from the Daily Mail in the UK - Banish the bags
How does plastic end up in our ocean? - Project Green Bag tells you here
I juggle this. We should recycle? What does recycle mean? Are we poisoning people as well as animals? Yes we are.
Do I still buy plastic? Yes I do. Why?
Because I have not started putting pressure on suppliers to change their packaging. When should I do this? Now.
That whale is on the beach because of me and you and the people like us who think lovely fluffy thoughts about recycling - a practice which is partly recycling and partly bullshit. The thing is - people who deliver that to China - they know this. And yet they do it.
We are creating a demand. Let us create anew.
Bring back paper grocery bags and glass bottles. Recycle paper in our own country and let children and people who need spare change recycle the glass bottles. Tidy country, tidy sea, good economics…?
I once stopped my car when a passenger in it threw his empty can out the window and I told him to pick it up. He said "no" and everyone cringed as I got out of the car, got the can and threw back in the window at him. He still didn't get it, but Iwent all around Europe looking at great beauty and the litter that was in it, and was proud of the green country I had back home. This is 'my country' for sure, just my home really, but we are not 'unjoined' to other countries by the sea, any more than we are 'unjoined' to other people by the air.
(Have you taken a look at the energy that flies around in the air?)
If you have an interest in doing something that may make a difference, but you are not sure what - perhaps it could be this:
Perhaps we could all pledge together to inspect the food cupboard or pantry (or the recycling bin) tonight or tomorrow and send the article below via email, or print it (and post) to the companies we are supporting.
Could they consider changing their packaging for the good of us all?
It's our children who need this the most. And if you are my age, I'm sure you remember glass bottles, and glass factories here that recycled for those few cents. What better way for kids to address their own needs, than to collect a few bottles and save the country, save wildlife, create jobs, be entrepreneurs … what else would it do?
It is our country, our planet. We are joined and we are on this ride together.
I'm a little bit keen to make it happen.
How about it?

After my last show at The Dolphin Theatre...
Elsie: Deb I have to tell you… You are responsible for the relationship I am in. It's all your fault!!
Me: ?? I am!!?? Ooh this sounds serious - something happened in your love life?
Elsie: YES! And I'm over the moon!!
Me: Yay!! I am so pleased to hear it!
Elsie: Yes!! I am TOTALLY in love.
Elsie: My BED!!! Since I came to your last show I have been telling my bed that I love it. And saying things like 'Hellooooo you gorgeous bed, just hold on a bit longer... I will be with you in a minute.'
Elsie: And you know what has happened? It's amazing!! My bed feels like it is snuggling me back! I have had dark circles under my eyes for YEARS and they are now gone!
I am sleeping so well, I can't believe it.
And it's all your fault!! Thank you so much.
Me: Hooray!! Elsie you absolutely ROCK!! Go to the top of the class!!!
The first time I met Elsie was at a Dolphin Show. I hugged her, and she later told me that a pain she had in her right lung had disappeared completely during the hug. (It never came back) She had smoke inhalation and then pneumonia, and several weeks of unwellness, but the pain had not shifted till that moment. This is why she listens intently and practices my teaching.
People listen, learn and go home and change their own lives. It's so easy - it's just AMAZING.
Before she changed the energy and her relationship with her bed, Elsie was an unsettled sleeper, and her mind would jump around from one topic to another. Now she is absolutely beaming, feeling wonderful, looking amazing, and I am rapt.

My clients often have great difficulty transferring the essence of my work into words.
It took me a while too.
Why? Because I often work without touching them, so it seems like magic - which most people think is not real - and people often start running when you say the words 'miracle healer'. Other people can see the results, but as they don't have a reference point for magic being real - they need to be inspired by circumstance, or courageous enough to take that leap of faith.
I work in a high trust environment. Sometimes clients just come because they have been told to. The most common phrase I hear them say is 'my friend told me I just needed to come'.
In my former life as a total sceptic who thought people were 'woo woo' and talking through a hole in their hats…. I also ran a mile when someone told me they had got 'in touch with their Indian Guide.'
'Mystical B.S.' I thought to myself. I did! and I also thought evangelists were basically vultures who preyed on, rather than prayed for people.
I didn't realise the steady stream of friends who came and told me all their problems, then left feeling better, were basically getting a healing from me. (I never told them my problems.)
I didn't realise that things I said were going to happen, did happen. I didn't realise I was right (until later) when I said 'that guy cheats on his wife' - I just knew that stuff.
I also had deja vu moments - doesn't everyone? and now and then I had dreams that happened (apparently that happens to many people too).
I completely forgot about my childhood visions because of a terrible illness that created memory loss. And I lived fairly harmoniously with the voices in my head, thinking, like most people do, that they were just thoughts.
I called myself 'normal'.
Now - I don't label anything. I like to understand why and see results.
Working with echo location gives me both.
Dolphins use echo location - a series of clicks and beeps to find things, and so do blind people when they tap their canes.
Through my BioSonar work, I create a Soundscape for a person, a place or situation, and then work with an idea or essence - through past present or future - transferring release, freedom and restorative, regenerative, healing energies within that Soundscape.
It brings some fairly amazing healing, dissolving hurts, pain and imbalance from the physical, mental, spiritual or emotional bodies.
It's also good for pre-op and post-op, sports injuries, even old pain you thought you just had to bear.
It is absolutely fantastic in helping relationships. If there has been tough stuff - but there is love that needs dusting off and bringing to light - BioSonar does that beautifully.
For more information on how BioSonar can help you (or a friend) please share this post, or please contact me via text, phone or the button below.
Oh my goodness. In my head there are many, many ideas. And sometimes, they can just bite me a little…
Like the one that popped into my head just now. It came from a movie. Sometimes I hear songs, and I call that 'the Heavenly DJ' - today it was fairly and squarely Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump.
I was thinking about how 'life is like a box of chocolates' you know the quote from the movie?
And I was thinking… hmmm if I asked 100 people what kind of chocolates they would choose for a personalised box - what would they choose? And what do our favourite chocolates say about us?
Not for me, the softy too-sweet marshmallowy fluffy stuff. Nooo.
I'd choose peppermint dark chocolate. A bit zingy, uplifting, refreshing, rich and strong - now there is a powerful introduction.
And then a strawberry milk chocolate, a little sweetness, light and gooey - ooh the mouthfeel and the story of coming to fruition in the summer sunshine - mmm….
And then I would want a salty caramel, the chewiness, oh and that sweet combined with the salt - taking the rough with the smooth, melting it slowly over several minutes because I would like to savour it. Aaah the richness of life experience through the years.
You can get so much from a box of chocolates - it's not just a box of chocolates - it's a stroll through your personality.
I can almost smell the box.
There is no chocolate in my house. My mouth and my belly are trying to get my legs to go chocolate shopping. I am resisting. But the force is not that strong within me. I have been bitten - by my creativity.
There is only one known cure for this. I may require a visit to Devonport Chocolates, or the counter upstairs at Smith & Caughey, skip along to Farro - or failing that, I shall nip down to the supermarket and have a 'chat' with Mr Lindt in row 6.
Oh yes, life is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get.

-prev post When you feel stuck, Life might be stuck on you.
- 15 tell tale signs you may be a healer
- 50 reasons why energy healing is great
You know when you just haven't got over something and people say 'get over it' as if you are a bit crazy, a bit of a drama queen or just a pain in the butt?
And when you just feel like things are getting 'on top of you' - there is nothing there - but you feel weighed down and struggle to get anything done because it just feels too hard?
Well sometimes the reason why you can't 'get over' something is because it's all over you. Actually - even though you can't see it - you are carrying it.
Life sticks to us.
Picture a field of long, long grass. Waving in the breeze, seed heads, dandelions, burrs, thistles and all sorts.
That's life. We have beauty, we have thistles, it's just how life is.
Now imagine you have a full length, fuzzy onesie on, a pair of velcro dungarees or woollen overalls.
Now get a visual idea of what that fuzzy pair of overalls would look once you have walked all the way to the other side of the field.
Covered in stuff isn't it? Can you resonate with this?
The human energy field can be just like this. Collecting the burrs, the seeds, the pollen and the other little sticky bits, getting loaded up with life.
Some people are self clearing, often we can 'brush things off' really easily, but if we are tired, overworked, burdened and not addressing our own needs, we can feel really awful.
Most people have burrs and fluff stuck to them without realising it.
Being aware of this helps you in many ways. Sometimes, in order to cope, we seek medication that we may not need, sometimes the stress builds up and up and relationships are damaged.
Keeping an eye on stress levels, running a little 'where am I at?' body check and clearing your own energy everyday helps life and You, to become unstuck.
You can do simple things like consciously breathing, running, walking, spending lots of time in fresh air, swimming, drinking lots of water, meditating, relaxing, and practicing affirmations - take extra special care with the words (and thoughts) you use every day.
Sometimes when things are really stuck, a session is needed.
In my work I often see people who have been 'carrying' something for so long it is almost embedded in them. They need help to get it out. Sometimes they are ready and sometimes not so ready, perhaps they are convinced, by guilt, that they should carry it, punish themselves and have a terrible life because of something they have done. Heaviness can be caused by blame, shame, a perceived 'wrong choice' or by hurt they have caused someone else, a broken heart when someone left, and words left unspoken when someone passed away. Heaviness, without a doubt, blocks your enjoyment of life.
The readiness can be worked on and these things can all be released, - even the feelings of guilt can be washed away too. Innocence is always within you, even when you've been through the worst experiences and reclaiming yourself, stepping into your personal power is an awesome thing to do.
It's time for all of us to say yes to freedom, and releasing yourself is a step towards making your life, and your world more of a garden - a better, more peaceful place to be.

Sometimes people trying to get their points across look like zealots, and nothing turns me off faster, but amongst the zealoty over the top clips I have seen, a raft of great videos and news reports go through my facebook newsfeed. And these are a few I appreciate, so I am sharing.
I am not into cons-piracy theories, I am into knowing that corporations are about profit and governments are funded by big, often discreetly gifted money. I am into knowing about what I can do to help myself and others around me.
I am inspired to look more closely at the people around me and engage with them on a loving level. I might not understand their lives. I don't have to - but they are people like me, they for the most part, have sons and daughters and family they care about. They don't want their children to die tragically or needlessly, something has to give.
Perhaps these will inspire some thought...
1. Mike Prysner - I don't know him, I don't know for certain if this is his valid life experience or merely a really well designed protest talk - but he makes such valid points, on humanity, greed, and rising above war and racism.
'Ordinary' people of volume do have great power, but not until they realise it. Remember the massive amount of people in the Egypt protest?
It's worth your time to watch Mike's talk here. (He gets a few standing ovations before the end, but they are not the end - keep watching.)
2. I am aware of the massive mental destruction that occurs as a result of trauma. I work with people suffering from prolonged abuse, PTSD and other related issues. Reawakening the spirit within us all is crucial - and in this clip, the moment of engagement when this ex-veteran recognises himself under the layers of disillusionment is extremely heartwarming. He moves into a new phase of life as a result.
It's a sad truth that many Vets are suffering unsupported from PTSD. Who did they really lose themselves for, what haunts them most? If they were all grouped together and allowed to air what haunts them most in a book, would anyone go to war? Would anyone send their child to war?
3. Russell Brand's great interview with Jeremy Paxman took the world by storm and is loaded with valid points that echo or rather frame the importance of the first talk by Mike Prysner. Russell doesn't have answers - he is outlining the need to recognise our power, aware of his own faults and speaking out of the space he has earned through his own work, like we all do - he has a right to have an opinion.
I agree with Billy Connolly's quote from several years ago 'the desire to become a politician should prevent anyone from ever being allowed to be one.' I don't have answers either though, just suggestions.
There are clips in my facebook newsfeed daily, clips that are not reaching mainstream media - displaying the massive amount of nuclear polluted water - thousands of litres a day, heading into the sea as a result of Fukushima. Draw your own conclusions as to why this is not being shared in the mainstream media.
Find out about sustainability and pay attention to what is going into your mouth.
About 3 weeks ago I chose to leave a full plate of sushi because the texture of the salmon in it was weird. I am not saying that it has been 'poisoned' - but it made me think - I don't know what was in it, and bad choices are being made on our behalf without any pretense of consultation. Have you seen the information about McDonalds fries having 17 ingredients? Did you, like me, imagine they are made of potatoes, oil and salt?
We don't all need to be food zealots, but if we are what we eat and we are eating food loaded with numbers, bleach and dye - don't expect to feel great.
We need to know where our food comes from, eat local, plant seeds, grow fruit trees, use farmers markets, buy organic if possible, throw away processed (I call it mechanical) food, it interferes with our brains, our children's brains and bodies - and perhaps learn how to muscle test the food we eat.
We are fresh bodies. We NEED fresh air, love, fresh food AND fresh water, and we need to know where it comes from. We need to be more involved, more engaged with what we put in, because wellness is no longer something that many people can take for granted. I don't want Nestle to deplete water reservoirs from villages in Pakistan, which is what they are currently doing.
Pay attention to what is coming out of your mouth - do be gentle and love each other without screaming about differences - strangers care about you and we see that demonstrated so easily when I ask for group healing on my facebook page.
You might not know the people who send you healing, they just do it because they are GREAT people. You pass people daily in the street who wish you well, you are unaware of them, and they may not resonate with you, but they are there all the same.
Care about yourself. Care about others. Teach your children to care about themselves and others, lead by example, and even when you are worried about life - don't teach them hopelessness, find them mentors, inspiration and discover what makes their hearts soar. The world we live in is personal and magical when we make it so. We can change it, by being mindful, by being loving, by being compassionate. We don't have to be perfect in any moment. Just engaged.
Get a mentor, find someone who inspires you to keep reaching forward, even when life feels awful, because sometimes it does. Keep common sense with you - if what they say really has you questioning - don't blindly follow. I've heard a lot of crap come out of people who stood up and said they had all the answers.
We all know there is a kind of crash already happening, it's via an obvious misalignment of us - people with new ideas and new needs crashing into the old archaic, establishment way of doing things. It's a good crash, a radical positive lifestyle change, coming in on a tide of dyslexic children, who don't fit the system and are more feeling, sensitive people. It's coming in on a web that connects people globally, on a wave of people who are disenchanted with the way government doesn't work, it's coming in on a wave of life changing love reaching the planet.
The change is coming in with you. As Sting said - Love is the seventh wave.
All you have to do is place one foot in front of the other and keep your eyes open and take care.
Peace begins with us.

50 ways energy healing has helped my clients
I worked in a weight loss centre in the UK for a while.
NutriSystem was new in the UK and had come from the US. (Here in NZ we don't know NutriSystem so well, but we are familiar with Jenny Craig, who worked for NutriSystem, before she started her own centres.) While I was there, I met a guy who airbrushed model shots for magazines.
He told me not to bother trying to recreate what I could see in magazines, because it wasn't real women we were looking at. He had morphed out more scars, acne, birthmarks, moles, dimples and so called 'fat' than he cared to remember, and drawn in more than a few sets of hip bones. He invited me to see the photos of the real women's Before Shots, and I didn't go, but thinking back now, I can see how profound such a viewing would have been. They were beautiful women, but not perfect.
Click Here to see why this kind of look is often impossible to recreate, because the model wouldn't even recognise herself. Take a look at what intensive editing can do for your figure.
Want longer legs? Here's how you 'can' have them in a moment.
No actual 'perfect genes' required. No pressure - and no reality either.
How do you think this model feels about her own perfectly lovely body after she sees this shot in a magazine?
Feeling amazing is a precursor to looking amazing.
Don't go on a D I E T, rearrange those letters and go on an E D I T.
Edit your lifestyle for real, work on your inner worth, your self talk, your values, take the pressure off, let go of your burdens, your past, edit what you dwell on and what you dwell in, edit your expression

- prev post freckles are so magical here
Freckles are magical.
I have a little friend called Nicholas who came to visit me once.
He told me that his freckles - he had loads of them, were fairies footsteps. And I told him that freckles are wishes.
(Freckles also usually come with a built in sort of playfulness and sometimes there is a cheeky variety.)
*Here is a secret that not many people know. so I'm writing it very small. I used to wish that I had freckles, and I wanted them soooo much, that I sometimes drew them on with a brown felt tip marker pen.
Every single freckle is one wish that you can use over your lifetime. Some are never used up. And that's why some people are funny about people with freckles.
They are a bit miffed that they don't have as many wishes, they don't realise that they are special in other ways.
They'll sort it out one day.
In the meantime, remember you're special, and put your wishes to good use.
There were bullies in the heart of my childhood.
And all of my childhood I struggled to make friends. I read well from a very early age, and life inside my books was rich, wild, wonderful and adventurous.
Life outside my books was painful. I didn't fit in. I felt unwanted, I was sensitive to many things I didn't understand, life was not very settled, I felt very awkward around people and I was a target for bullies.
Something was different about me. It that was just enough to get me into trouble.
Secret #1 Bullies love sameness.
Bullies love everyone to be the same, because when everyone is the same, then they all act the same and that makes bullies comfortable. They search out difference and poke fun at it because they feel threatened by it.
Secret #2 Bullies are not happy.
The thing inside a bully that makes a bully pick on someone else, feels so disgusting to carry around, that they are trying to put it down somewhere. They want you to 'take' it from them. It's a feeling, like a rottenness - not a physical object. It is temporarily fed when they make other people feel as bad as they do, but it's nearly always hungry.
Secret #3 Bullies are ugly.
Oh, they can sometimes look pretty on the outside, for sure. But take a close look, that prettiness doesn't run too deep, and the good news is this - if a bully keeps pulling THAT face when they look at people and treat people badly - that face just might be the (wrinkle) face that they will end up wearing when they are old. The ugliness, badness or wrongness inside you that they 'seem' to be pointing out to you - IS THEIRS - it's ALL theirs. THEY are the ones who have to fix something, not YOU. They are sometimes masquerading as clever, but being a bully is not clever. It's a waste of character.
Secret #4 Bullies actually feel somehow disconnected. They try to reconnect by stealing energy from people who are connected. People who are connected are often connected to love, to nature, to kindness, sometimes they are connected to red hair, (red hair is very magical) and they can even be connected to freckles.
Secret #5 Bullies can't handle it when you know the truth about them, so you have to be a bit gentle with them, even though they are bullies. You can't tell them that you know they have these secrets.
You just have to remember how awful they feel and remember they are trying to eat your 'good' feeling. (If they felt good, they wouldn't do it would they?) Keep your good feeling with you and treasure it. Not everyone can deal with your goodness, kindness or indeed, if you have it, your red hair.
That's their problem, not yours, your individuality is what makes the world go round - it's your own personal torch, that helps you light your path.
Secret #6 Later on, some bullies are really sorry because they realise how awful they were and they were actually being bullied themselves. And sometimes they even apologise. Sometimes bullies just need kindness and someone to care about them, they can heal and so can you. You don't need to fix them though, and this is important to know. If you are consistently being bullied, get help.
The bullies that were mean to me, hung around in a big group and took turns saying super mean things one at a time. It made them feel better. And it made me feel really awful, really awful, isolated and scared, but at the same time I knew something about them. I knew that the one who was meanest - also frightened the other bullies, and some of them joined her because of their fear of going against the crowd.
What if she picked on them? They would have H A T E D it. And that small knowing helped me.
A whole group of people who need to pick on one person are sick.
Don't be a part of it.
The world only progresses when someone is brave enough to put their hand up and share their different idea. Our planet won't survive if we are all the same. Our planet won't survive if we all pick on each other. If you pick on someone, they might not survive. (Ask yourself why you need to and heal that) Because whether it's school, or the workforce, in home, or out in public somewhere - you don't know what that other person is going through - and one day - they might even save your life.
Your Challenge: Today think of all the ways that someone who dared to be different changed the world you live in. Think of explorers, inventors, innovators and scientists. See if you can name ten.
And then go out and celebrate your difference, because you never know what you could do that will change someones world.
If you know a friend who could benefit from these secrets please pass them on.
The terrible things that happened to me in my life, which made me feel isolated and scared, also increased my sensitivity to people - now it has also helped me to save other people that have felt really bad.
So what someone poked fun at me for, is my greatest gift. So I really mean it - celebrate your difference, because one day you will realise it's your greatest gift too.
Here is a (4 minute) video about how doing something that seems small can make a BIG difference to someone else. I hope you really enjoy it.
And keep this in mind: What other people think of you is none of your business - it's what you think of you, and what you do that counts the most. Let kindness be your guide.
Have a WONDERFUL day.
