And in the last few days, there have been some grumbles echoing through the networks.
It's that time of year when people start looking back, evaluating and some have commented they feel like they've been 'dragged through a hedge this year' things have been tough and there has been a lot of pushing and not much reward.
Sometimes when we get mad about life and start feeling down, it's an indicator that we have done a lot of growing, and we are ready for our next push through a personal boundary.
The body/mind/spirit resets for a bit, and sometimes we can get resentful or a bit achy/headachy as the old energy comes up for release. (Just let it gooooooooooooo.)
A great way to know whether this is happening is to look at all the things you once thought were difficult and see how ordinary they now seem. If this is the case, and you're unusually grumpy about anything, it's a sure sign there is some old energy to throw off.
You will have achieved so much that you can't even see. And when you look back, you'll see you've come a long way. (See my next blog for the Love Tank.)
Some years are about launching and leaping forward outwardly, and some are about inward growth, dealing with issues as they have come to hand and navigating life. These years are SO important, and even though they may not be on the outside reflected in dollars and cents, they are the breeding ground for the courage and skills to push through into the new period of outward growth.
They say 'God laughs when we plan things', and I have to admit that is sometimes the case for me. Ralph Waldo Emerson said 'Once you make a decision, the Universe conspires to make it happen.' And I know personally, that sometimes you can make a decision and the Universe will make it happen in a way you weren't expecting. It's good to go with a guide and go with the flow.
The times when you feel you've made a decision and nothings happened, there is something to release, or something to get in touch with. You could have inner resistance, meditate to see if it feels like there is a block or a wall in between you and your desired outcome. Sometimes it will feel like a live energy and sometimes it will feel like no energy at all. These are the times you need to reframe.
Sometimes the desired outcome can only arrive after you have done your inward growth. And your inward growth may come as obstacles that you have to overcome - they may not have a sign on them that says 'I am an obstacle you have to overcome in order to be able to realise your dream'.
Henry David Thoreau said 'Follow your bliss and the Universe will open doors for you where there were only walls.' So make sure you have scheduled in some time to enjoy yourself. It's a very important part of flow.
If you are in the space of inward growth - celebrate it and use it wisely. Send love energy to it - remember it's a CRUCIAL part of your getting to your destination, and keep counting the blessings - the cleaner and more loving energy you can apply to a year of inward growth, the better. Think of it as lining a nest to lay your eggs in. You want soft, bouncy, beautiful clean straw, not jagged rough stones. Every story you tell yourself about how you got on this year is the foundation for your eggs to nestle and hatch in and your chickens (dreams) to grow.
Open your heart further and breathe in ease and grace, ease and grace, ease and grace.
Set yourself a small personal task for the day and a longer term one and remember the Universe is conspiring according to your decisions. Your nest is best lined with loads of bliss and a hearty dollop of loved-up-ness. You go first, loving you is the best thing you could possibly do! <3
