I am sooo excited. Following a 'You Can Do IT!' prompt from one of my lovely clients, I am listening. I looked at the blocks I had around publishing my book and realised to start with, I was worried, wanted to do something on a small scale. I'm a tactile person and I love beauty and grace and, well, just the way things 'feel.' It has to feel right. Soooo I am embarking, (could even be barking mad) on a project. I am hand making each book. It's in the process stage at present, I have orders for seven now. It is a compilation of my writing, both private and previously published, a smattering of lovely DeLightScopes, some of my colour healing drawings and a reminder of our divinity. It will be infused with healing and light, and each one will be dedicated to the person it has been created for. Just 8 x 8 = 64 pages - this equals 1 and that is a fresh energy, new starts, leadership and putting your foot forward. It's a B5 size and resembles a journal. (The pictured book is an inspiration for it.) I did tell someone that I might put spare pages in, but they were horrified thinking about writing in it! I am quite sure the Angels will bring you lots of feathers for it. As it will be a little like having a session with me, (and because of the time and materials it takes to make) the price is the same as a one hour session. So it's $100. It is designed to bring you strength, nurturing, love and a beautiful pure energy space to rest with, like the paper that I give out after readings, you can hold it, and feel the energy. I feel blessed that now is the right time to bring it all through. To order, please contact me by email here.

In this moment, you have an opportunity to choose whether you will continue to worry, or whether you will simply park a worry to one side. In this moment, free of worry, you now have an opportunity to send a little love energy to yourself. In this moment of love energy, you now have an opportunity to say a silent thank you for the beautiful people and experiences and the love that surrounds you. In this moment of gratitude, you may also give thanks for the forthcoming solution to your worry. This is a constructive way to invest your energy. In this moment of construction and openness, miracles are not only possible, they are very likely.
Rose Quartz
Rose Quartz is gentle and beneficial for adults and children. A beautiful healer and comfort stone, promoting relaxation and all kinds of wellness, it's also said to be beneficial for people with Parkinsons and Alzheimers. Its colour can range from almost white to a deep rose pink, it may fade if left in the sun. It symbolises, love, peace, comfort and relaxation and is often sourced from Brazil. I have some rose quartz here for sale; and a circle of rose quartz and other love healing stones you can stand in to experience a full body buzz of rose quartz healing. You may also choose to have a crystal healing with the love stones to bring wellness or assist with transitioning through grief.
For the newsletter article and Healing Your Flow info, please click the flow picture… Crystal Clear - Helping Vision I love the healing power of crystals, it's just an amazing thing. How do they heal us? Well, they vibrate at a certain frequency. And unwell humans vibrate at another. When there is discord in your energy field and you bring the right crystal in for healing, the crystal energy hums away repairing your depletion until your level is raised enough to release the unwellness. When you no longer need it, but you continue to hold it close, in your field or in your pocket - the crystal is often lost. Clear quartz, a very high grade clear quartz is fabulous for the eyes. If you lay down and place one on each eyelid or above or below the eyes, it's a little like having a rejuvenation with cucumber. A very lovely mini treatment. But you could take this one step further, as I do with some of my clients, and intensively work on your vision. Hi Deb, I went for a check to Eye Specialist. Today. Could read 1 line smaller !! than last time and had a scan. He said "I wish all my patients were as boring as you. What are you doing?" I said "I'm putting quartz crystals on them". He said, "Well keep doing it, your eye hasn't been this good for a long time". I lay the crystals on my eyes and forehead for about half an hour most days. I use all 5. My family has had great success with the crystals preventing car sickness (held a crystal in each hand). I skinned my shin very badly - the crystals laid on the plaster bandage took the pain away almost immediately. AND my daughter used them to clear the water to taste better at our beach house as well. I wash them for a moment in cold water most days, dry them and put in love, healing and golden light. Thank you lovely Deb. Colleen Wright I am so grateful to hear this, as she has previously been told to expect her eyesight to deteriorate. Quartz crystals are in stock if you would like to purchase them. I have large ones here for $13.50 each. Meditate for wellness with one on each eye.
Threads of Life She sinks inside herself. Discouraged and lost in regret and self recrimination. And finds she is not alone. "Have you come for the dance?" he asks. "What dance?" she replies, "I don't understand. I don't know who you are. I can't see a dance, all I can see is black and dark, I've stuffed things up and been stupid, and people have done bad things to me and to each other. Terrible things happen. Life is tough." "Ah", he says. "Those people are teaching each other and you too. Teaching about love and pain, about how you can all make better choices, they are teaching how to think on your feet, how to have faith, how being saved at the last minute is a very real thing that happens, and about how you can cause great harm to yourself if you don't speak up. There are no mistakes, you are just learning." She catches her breath. He has her attention, after all, she has nothing else to do. He explains. "It is a dance because each person is crucial to complete a cycle. Each one is a link in an infinite chain reaction, weaving their way in and out, like a pattern in a fabric, and in that way they are dancers. The man that gives way for the rushing woman, is in the right place at the right time to save someone's life. The woman who gives a gift to the elderly neighbour, thwarts an opportunistic thief, who sees a kindness in action, and is inspired to change his mind." He goes inside himself for a moment and reflects, finding the words. "Sometimes tragedy opens the door for great kindness and a sense of stronger community. Even though It can be difficult, it's important in these times to remain open to good. These people who create wonderful things for each other, are all picking up their threads of life. The Threads of Life are very, very important. They are the same ones that provide people with nourishment from their spirits. When the threads are scattered, knotted or broken, life cannot flow as easily. This is what closure does, sometimes it causes people to wander and stretch their threads very thinly, but they can always be called back, unless it's their time to pass from this world. In cases of death, the thread is snapped completely, as the body is not needed any longer." She absorbs, and seeing how this opening and closing has worked in her life, she nods for him to continue. "The threads roll over and under each other, as the people go about their business. In this way, a blanket is woven by humanity for humanity. Faith is shared, created, restored. Possibility is birthed. Connection between people is the music for the dance, making unconditional relationships and extending kindnesses - this creates harmonious, beautiful music and makes the blanket soft. There are enough weavers now, and many more arriving daily to make this blanket enveloping, inviting and nurturing. Some call themselves Lightworkers, but really it is all kinds of people doing and sharing good. Story tellers, artists, carers, gardeners, builders, mothers, fathers and poets. They sprinkle the blanket with the warmth of heart and courage, the magic of moonlight, starlight, the lilt and uplift of sunshine and daisies. And with the most important thing - the promise of a new dawn." He pauses to see if she is still with him, and sees that her minds eye is filled with images, carried on a blissful journey of creating, imagining and remembering, a vivid landscape of love and caring. A softness has returned to her. He smiles. Her vibration is rising as he speaks. "Theirs is a sacred task, for they are removing the compression that has been laid down upon humanity. Wouldn't you agree that sharing love and wisdom has always been the greatest grace available to mankind?" She nods again. "This blanket is ready for you now. Do you take your part as a weaver in this magical dance?" "Yes." The faintest whisper. "Then there is nothing for you to do but allow the memories of your kindnesses to wash over you. To illuminate your life by engaging with the kindnesses others have done, for you and for all of humanity - and to allow this to also wash over you, and bathe your threads. Breathe and allow. As you do, they are becoming lighter and lighter, silvering in the sunshine of this infinite grace." "Sit now and feel the warmth of the blanket. Feel the light cleansing you and drawing away false ideas of wrongs, slights, and limitations. This light is love. And by your own remembering that you are an expression of this love, you are freed." And with that, she understands that they are One. This is not her alone, this is 'us'. She rests, wrapped in gratitude and the softest of blankets, with a full heart, inwardly experiencing the raw beauty of the dance - and she smiles - as she wonders what took her so long. In the distance, there is music.
Life is for living, loving, laughing and leaping over hurdles. Sure you have to work… but what is the work all about if jumping for joy is not on your to-do list? Your Homework choices are: 1. You - tomorrow - 10 star jumps (or jumping jacks) - in the doorway - at work or at home - facing the world. 2. Make a tin can telephone with string and talk to a friend. 3. Make silly faces at kids on the bus. 4. Make mud pies. 5. Paint with your hands. 6. Investigate glitter or glue for no real reason at all. Stick something to something else. 7. Ring someone up and tell them you love them. 8. Roll down a grassy hill. 9. Go fly a kite. 10. Write "I love you" in lipstick on your mirror. 11. See if you can kiss your elbow. 12. Make up a funny character for a children's book. 13. Take your inner child out for a swing. 14. Make your food into faces before you eat it. 15. Press all the buttons on the thingummies that make music in a FRIENDLY toy shop. *If anyone says you are silly for doing it, tell them it was part of your Play Therapy Prescription from Doctor Deb. **Do NOT taste the strawberry scented soap - it doesn't taste like strawberries - I have already done this experiment for you. (Ok - ever hopeful, I did do it twice just in case I was wrong the first time) MWAH!!! (I just tried to kiss my elbow.)
Marianne Williamson says 'We will inhabit the world we wish to see and that is why we must never lose sight of love.' But what is love? Love is only what it means to us. Everything on earth means what it means to us personally. It has as much importance or as little importance as we attach to it. It's all around us, yet - we sometimes need to tweak our eyes a little, tune ourselves to perceive a little, if we want to increase our spiritual vision. We already have a network of symbols. Hearts are love. Clouds herald rain, rainbows mean the sun is coming. Wool to me, means warmth and comfort, wool to a sheep farmer might mean hard work and profit. Dogs are loyalty - unless they are snarling - then they mean keep out. Consider some of the symbols you have and already use daily. Each persons symbols come from their own life experiences, so they all have subtle differences - and there is more than one way to look at the signs, symbols and messages that are everywhere - so really - it's about getting clear to look. Putting ourselves in a space of grace first, so we can simply receive, instead of pushing and thrashing to get some kind of outcome. A fearful space brings a fear of the signs that come, and a loving space brings a better experience. #1 Sit in a quiet space. And if the only quiet space you have is in the bathroom - go for it - it's a great start. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. You do not have to get a result in this exercise. Simply say to yourself (internally) "I am willing to see." And imagine you have parcelled that up, in an envelope with a stamp on it - and you've sent it in some kind of imaginary Angel Powered Post Box. That's it. Let it go. #2 Admit to yourself that you need help. And then tell your Higher Self, your Angels, God or Nana, you are ready for that help. As simply as this "Angels, I am willing to accept the help you send me." #3 Take any steps that you feel guided, pressed upon, compelled to take. Carefully listen to hunches. Notice recurring thoughts, and instead of pushing them away, ask yourself - is this for my higher good? Discern whether you have been disregarding them due to fear, and if so - does that fear hold a key to healing for you? Write the thoughts down and take appropriate action. The action process is an instigation. The allowing process is an invitation. The active listening process is a validation. Love, faith, some devotion, constructive action, and dedicating yourself to service are all a part of welcoming miracles. So while you are sitting, after you have completed this process, place both hands on your heart and just warm it with love. Once you start to feel a fullness, send any excess out to your home, your family, pets and friends. As an ongoing process, intend to receive 3 big signs on a journey - perhaps the journey to work. I asked for a song (to confirm I was doing the right thing) while I was on my way to my Reiki 1 Learner Healers course, and at the top of the Reiki Teachers driveway - that song played on my car radio. It blew me away. And underlined my day, my Reiki, my Teacher and my spiritual way of life was very important. So what song will you ask for? And would you please let me know if you have a little story about it? Done the exercises, but need to clear some muck out of your spiritual eyes? Edelweiss, the song featured in the Rogers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music, was a gift today in a session I did with a client. It arrived, popping into my head, as most do, (have I told you about the Heavenly DJ?) in an extremely relevant moment. It turned out to be a spiritual healer that was most appropriate and most welcome in the space. Not only did my client know the song, AND sang it to me, but he also bought an Edelweiss flower when he was travelling, many years ago in Europe. The spiritual significance of Edelweiss is so encouraging. It stands for daring courage and noble purity. A hardy plant that blooms in difficult conditions, covered in a layer of fluff, protecting itself against the tough conditions. Used as a symbol of bravery and an award. To climb and return with Edelweiss was considered a great achievement. It's been protected in the wild, but is now grown all over colder places in the world, and for skincare ranges and medicinal preparations - Edelweiss is described as a miracle flower - good for vascular health with anti ageing properties and useful in cases of dysentary, diphtheria and tuberculosis. As I look into the message Edelweiss brings, it says "Tadahh! I made it!" to me. I see its journey through a tough space and how it presents itself, outstretched, and opened really wide. That star shape is magical. Can you see? If you close your eyes and ask - can you feel the energy of it? The vibration of flowers can move us deeply into a place of wellness. It may have traditionally been hard to find, but its generous openness, the exhilarating trip it led you on, and the beautiful energy it shares, is worth the hike. What a gift. 021 726 276 Previous post: Orange is underrated - How it can help you + a recipe
Place your feet flat on the floor and breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth to connect. Close your eyes for a moment and feel that connection. Keep cycling your breath allowing yourself to float and drift into the lightness that envelops you. In your open hand I place a golden cloth. It pulses gently with golden light and has an energy that soothes your heart. As you unwrap it you find you are holding a handful of Pure Faith, humming its song of trust and unconditional love. Put it where you feel you need it most - in yourself or someone else. Breathe it in through your nose and out through your mouth and let the magical energy of the faith caress your soul and nurture you. EnJOY. In love and miracles, Deb X When I learned Reiki I was really scared. Scared I wouldn't be able to remember, scared I wouldn't be able to do it. But what happened when I stepped out of my comfort zone, was simply amazing. After my Level 1 Reiki Class I came home, feeling a little light headed and excited, and wondering if I could 'really do it'. I slept soooo well and was looking forward to using Reiki. I had homework, to practice Reiki on myself for 21 days - I had two young sons and was excited to use it for them too. I was on my own, doing the lions share of parenting, and any way I could help make that easier was welcome - a well family saves stress, time and discomfort, time off work and money too. Good for me and great for my boys? Bring it on! Unexpectedly, my chance came the following morning. As is often the way, the boys shared a bunk bed. My older son woke up very early the following morning and uttered the words no mother wants to hear "BLEEEEAAARGH I'm gonna be SICK" As he hopped out of bed I leapt up on 'autopilot damage control mode' praying for him to avoid vomiting on the carpet... and then the weirdest thing happened. He ran around the corner and into the bathroom, and leaned over the toilet making a huge heave noise. I was right behind him and put my hands on his back, saying "Don't be sick, don't be sick, don't be sick." He stopped. He gave another sort of half heave, breathed in and said.. "Oh, wow, that's weird. I don't feel sick anymore, in fact..... gee that's really weird." And standing up, he looked at me and then said "I'm a bit hungry. I think I will go and eat breakfast." I watched in stunned amazement as he left the bathroom and went to the dining table. (It was CocoPops, if you're wondering.) I was standing there wondering what happened (I was sleeping when all this started, so hadn't really got all my faculties in order) and then I realised my Reiki had switched on automatically as my hands were so hot - they felt like they were almost glowing. My son went off to school right as rain. Amazing. Reiki has helped my family many times since and as I became a Reiki Master/Teacher, I have been priveleged to share it with countless people. It has definitely changed my life for the better and brought me many amazing experiences on my journey. The simplest and most graceful form of healing, anyone can learn it, as you are attuned by the Master. My fear when I went along, was due to what I thought was a bad memory (and truckloads of low self confidence), but I was so reassured, and then I came to understand, that Reiki is a process that you learn by doing. It's an ongoing major blessing in my life, and can be the same for you. I'm teaching on Saturday August 9th, from 10am till 4:30pm in Mairangi Bay.
