Hot on the heels (I know, I couldn't resist it) of last nights dream about sandals... comes a story of magical manifesting and surprise.
This is real - but it's also a fairy tale manifestation, and it just may have a gift in it for you - so I will start it the way all good fairy tales start. Once upon a time... when I was a struggling single mum, I wished for a pair of shoes. Not just any pair of shoes, actually I really wanted boots, and I had an idea of the boots that I wanted. They were brown and had white stitching on them. At least mid-ankle length and as I had next to no money at all - I had no idea how I could possibly end up with them. I considered they were a pipe dream, but all the same, I wished for them. I had a picture in my head and I don't know what made me do it, but I said 'Dear God, I would LOVE a pair of boots like these. I have no money to buy them, but I would LOVE them, and I don't know how they could be mine, but I would just love them.' And I completely dismissed the idea and went on with my life. A couple of weeks passed. I had to go pick my children up in Tauranga (they had been away for a few days) and asked my friend Liz if she would like to come for a ride. She was up for it and so off we went, leaving Auckland early enough to be in Tauranga about lunchtime. We got out of the car, gasping for coffee and headed off up the road to find a nice cafe. About half way up the first street, the footpath was clogged with a group of women and we had to almost 'swim' through them to get past. (Just quietly, I was a bit annoyed.) We were hailed by a lady with a microphone and asked if we wanted to join the queue to "win' something. Ever the sceptic - I said no, and prepared to carry on, but she persisted. "You REALLY want to do this" she said. 'Oh yeah' I thought to myself, but gave her a brief window - just a few seconds of my time, for the benefit of the doubt. She came through with flying colours. It was a radio station/shoe store promo called..... Cinderella for a day. They even had a throne. Participants were to choose a pair of shoes to try on and if the shoes fitted - they were a gift. I asked her how much it cost, because I couldn't believe it was really free. She said it was free. Seriously. Waiting in the queue I had time to watch girls ranging from roughly 15 years old trying to cram their feet into shoes that were too big and too small and thought they could have done with looking at the sizes on the boxes. (Older Cinderellas might be a bit more wily...) I was a size 39. I did a double-take when I saw there was a pair of brown boots with white stitching sitting beside the throne. I sat down and looked at the box. It was size 39. 'There is a God' I said to myself, and requested them, giving my friend Liz a nudge towards the red shoes next to them (she was next in the queue). They fitted me and they felt like I was walking on air. Liz fitted the red shoes - they looked gorgeous. We left the store and literally danced up the road to a cafe. Cinderella indeed. Between us we were holding over $500 worth of shoes. I simply cannot explain to you how that felt. Those boots lasted for ages and they were soooo comfortable. I mentally, humbly and profusely apologised for being such a sceptic and vowed to return to Tauranga. I haven't been back... BUT... I'll be there again soon - on September 13th, I will be at the Tauranga Yacht Club, in Sulphur Point from 7:30pm, BRINGING MIRACLES - telling stories of amazing spiritual experiences, speaking about healing and the simple ways we can heal and empower ourselves and our children, saving a huge amount of time, stress and money in the process. My work is defined as profound, stunning, inspirational and life changing. I'm a teacher, speaker, healer, humanitarian, a survivor, a changemaker and so much more. Every day I help people make changes in their lives and many of my clients call me their miracle lady and there are testimonials to some of the miracles here. I'm a humanitarian too, so I would love to give back to the people that helped clean up the oil spill there and also would like to offer an opportunity to caregivers. If you are one of those people and would like to claim a subsidised ticket - please contact me directly here. If you have a special friend that you would like to nominate a seat for - please write to me about that here. The eventfinder ticket link for standard price tickets is here. I'm looking forward to creating miracles for you. Deb X 021 726 276
